On average, business travelers compare three hotels before booking and 82 percent say frequent flyer programs are important for making this decision, according to a new GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) study.
This study reveals that nine out of ten business travelers consider reward points and benefits as a motivating factor in choosing a hotel and 81% believe that being a loyal customer translates into better service. .
The top five rewards for a loyalty subscription include free nights, room upgrades, rewards exchange flexibility, express check-in and service benefits.
The vast majority (84%) of business travelers feel it is important to have a personalized experience for clients – and most believe that the experience should be different from that of a leisure trip. % of them report buying services on a business trip which would not be the case for a leisure trip. / Source: GBTA
